I got invited to play a 4 hour DJ set on sunday afternoon at the Indian Spirit Festival 2013 . It was great! People where chilling and the huge sound system blasted the music also outside the tent where people chilling. In 4 hours you can easily do a lot of things (songs) including playing three tracks from Shigeto in a row but also giving the music enough space to feel the entire beauty.
I added this mixes not to my soundcloud cause some of the tracks where already mixed in previous mixes there. And my mixcloud needs a bit of love! DL available for the next 7 days.
Here are the recordings:
great sunday #earcandy –>
I was working the last 4 weeks pretty hard as Chief Organizer for the Startup Camp Berlin which was big big fun and a huge success. And this morning, after a very long, deep and dreamless sleep, I found this pretty #earcandy from DJ Scientist. A DJ and producer from Berlin whom I had the pleasure to have as guest at my support your local ghetto nights in Berlin.
“..On Solid Steel, we like to go deep and as part of our celebrations in Hour 2, we welcome DJ Scientist with Solid Soviet Steel Radio (SSSR), a special guest mix that solely features music from the former Soviet Union. The dedicated record collector, DJ and Equinox record label owner from Berlin managed to unearth and put together an extensive and fascinating selection of tracks from countries like the Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldavia, Russia and more, resulting in a unique musical adventure. The mix starts with a deep and slow psych part, coming up with more funk-laden Soviet grooves and killer instrumental breaks. Many of these groups managed to create their own kind of sound, mixing western styles like Jazz, Funk and Rock with traditional music from their own countries. You can get a full run down here https://www.facebook.com/djscientist1..”
Please check out as well his great Album: For Better, For Worse. You like DJ Shadow? You might like this aswell.
The #Echochamber last week (10th of Jan) was streamed from my home on my own. No recording but it was really exciting. (Tracklist below)

Just returned from a trip to Lithuania which had its peak at the wonderful Satta Outside Festival in Sventoi in Lithuenia. After visiting the countryside and the lovely city Vilnius we headed to the baltic coast to the festival. On Friday night at 9:00 PM I had my slot and what can I say… it was banging. Thank you! The audience was a the dream of every DJ. And here is my set. Its totally weird… as usual.. Starts with Beatz, Dub, Trap and ended in UK Garage Style… (listen after the klick)
22nd of June, this is the next date at the lovely Panke in lovely Wedding for my monthly night: “Support Your Local Ghetto”. This time I will have a guest again and its just great to have JStar coming over to join me on the sound system. JStar is super famous for his fantastic mash ups and bass remixes such as series of classic reggae/hip hop mashups on limited 7” vinyl (such as No Diggity’, ‘Tooting Gangsta’’ Unbreak my dub’ and ‘Wooh-star’)
This is so sad – but so beautiful:
